Circle Activities

Our regular monthly get together involves a formal meeting followed by time to chat and catch up with friends. Under normal circumstances this would be done face to face over a drink but, at the moment, we do this through Zoom. However, we do a lot more than meet once a month.

Main events – during the year we have a number of well established dinners (some of which include dances). In January we have a ‘Charter and Clergy’ dinner, in April a ‘St. Georges Day’ dinner, in June a family oriented ‘Presidents Sunday’ and, of course, in December a Christmas Dinner.

Religious events – every November we have a mass to remember our deceased brothers and in December we share in the provincial Christmas Carol Concert. During the year we also have a number of recollections.

We also have a wide range of less formal activities that enable brothers, wives and families to get together. These include quiz nights, wine tastings, theatre trips, bowling …..

Walks – we also get together for regular walks. These can be in Tatton Park or further afield and provide an opportunity to get to know everyone better. We normally have a break in a cafe or pub. Dogs are welcome and the weather does not stop us.
